How do you simulate tight spaces?

Book a project room, carrel or tandem room

Do you want to learn together in a small group, prepare a presentation or work on a case? You can book one of the numerous project rooms on campus for this purpose. Carrels are exclusively available to master and PhD students for work (research, drafting, etc.) on a master's thesis or dissertation; the tandem rooms are primarily used for language learning.

Project rooms are booked electronically using the "Rooms" booking tool. You can register with your user name (h + matriculation number) and your password.

When booking project rooms, the following points must be observed:

  • Project rooms can only be booked by regular WU students (NOT by co-participants, extra students)

  • Bookings can be made a maximum of 14 days in advance.

  • The maximum booking period is 2 hours

  • 3 "open" bookings (i.e. bookings in the future) are allowed per student

  • Bookings are possible during the semester at the following times: Mon-Fri between 8 a.m. and 9.30 p.m., Sat between 8 a.m. and 5.30 p.m. (no bookings on Sundays and public holidays)

  • During the booked period, your matriculation number and the information "room booking h + matriculation number" will be shown on the door display of the project room

When using the project rooms, the following must be observed in particular:

  • Your student ID enables you to open the project rooms. We recommend that you update your student ID on an evaluation reader * before each use.

  • Please do not leave any (valuable) objects unattended in the project rooms and leave the rooms in a tidy condition.

  • If you notice a defect in a project room, please inform us of this by giving the room number to the following address: [email protected]

Important note: As the booker, you are responsible for the project space during the booking period in accordance with the booking and usage guidelines. You therefore also bear the consequences in the event of misconduct.

* Evaluation readers are located in all buildings (on each floor) on campus. To update, hold your student ID up to the device until the narrow, vertical diode on the front changes from flashing blue to glowing green.
